The definitive count of the official GTA 6 screenshot library comes from a July 31, 2026 enumeration of the official website: exactly 70 images across 14 sets, numbered contiguously within each set with no gaps at all.

Earlier figures circulated because people counted different things. The June 24, 2026 pre-order batch was reported as "more than 60" shots; a late-June tally reached about 63 once retailer and edition artwork was included; and a 133 total counted the media page's Ultimate Edition Benefits and Vintage Vice City Pack imagery alongside the standard library. The 70-across-14-sets figure supersedes all of them for the core screenshot library. The first big drop, over 80 images, came with Trailer 2 in May 2025.

The no-gaps result matters: a recurring theory held that Rockstar reserved numbered slots and released images into pre-cut holes. On this build there are no missing numbers, so nothing is sitting in a numbered gap. Community shots and captures live separately in our media gallery.
