Sahara is Grand Theft Auto VI's Amazon parody, a logistics and delivery corporation that appears across the game's marketing materials. The evidence is already public in Rockstar's official screenshots: Sahara Arena, a basketball stadium (described in GTABoom's reporting as tied to a team called the Vice City Narcos), and Sahara-branded shipping boxes both show up in official promotional shots. A mega-retailer whose name lands on both cardboard boxes and a naming-rights stadium is a very pointed piece of corporate satire.

Sahara also produced one of the more concrete pre-launch datamines. Dataminer Tez2 found that the "KnoWay Out" missions in GTA Online's December 2025 "A Safehouse in the Hills" update shipped under the internal code name "Sahara Surveillance" before Rockstar renamed them. A live GTA Online mission chain named, at one point in development, after a brand that lives in GTA 6's world is the hard fact; the text strings exist in the update files.

The interpretation built on top is Tez2's theory that Rockstar originally planned a two-part structure timed to the game's original May 2026 window, then reworked and renamed the missions after the delay to November 19, 2026.
