Rockstar revealed the official GTA 6 cover art on June 18, 2026 through its Newswire, in the same announcement that set pre-orders for June 25. No trailer accompanied it; the still image was the whole show. One later report dates the reveal teaser to June 20, a discrepancy worth noting, though the June 18 Newswire date anchors the earlier accounts.

The design leans on the series' hallmark nine-panel collage grid, with Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval anchoring the center.
