The Classic Car Collection was the first GTA 6 side activity Rockstar confirmed by name, and it is a collector's loop through and through: abandoned and work-in-progress project cars sit scattered across Leonida, and players track them down, have them restored, and build a collection out of what the state left rusting in its barns and backlots. It turns the map itself into a treasure hunt, rewarding exactly the kind of aimless wandering open-world fans already love.

The activity has a face, too. Restoration commissions run through Wyman, an eccentric collector and local fixer whose salvage-yard world features in the official screenshots, making him one of the few side-content characters named months before launch.

There is an edition wrinkle worth knowing. A string of Classic Car Collection commission jobs is one of the two exclusive side missions in the Ultimate Edition, so some of the collecting is gated to the $99.99 tier, but the activity was announced as part of the general slate and much of the open-world car hunting is open to every buyer. Between this, the '55 Stanier pre-order car and dedicated mod shops, GTA 6 is courting car culture hard; see vehicles and side activities for the wider picture.
