Tez2, who posts on X as @TezFunz2, is the most closely watched dataminer in the GTA community, with a long record of accurate finds pulled directly from Rockstar's own files rather than from anonymous tips.

Notable finds

Parody domains: a batch of GTA 6-style web domains, including rydeme.app, what-up.app and buckme.app, registered on May 27 under Take-Two nameservers and surfaced in September 2025 (see parody domains).
Sahara Surveillance: GTA Online's "KnoWay Out" missions shipped under the internal name "Sahara Surveillance", after a brand from GTA 6's world. The rename is fact in the files; Tez2's theory of a scrapped GTA 6 crossover is labelled as theory (see Sahara Surveillance).
NoPixel V: a Rockstar Games Launcher backend listing for NoPixel V, dated June 22, 2026, surfaced through Tez2 with the original find credited to @logan_mcgeeee.
Age verification: strings for a GTA Online age-verification flow, datamined in 2025, citing the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Greece.

Reports

Tez2 has suggested GTA 6 could be the first game in the series to sell its online mode separately from the story (see multiplayer status) and reports that Rockstar plans episodic single-player story expansions, possibly adding new cities or islands, framed partly as a way to spread output and reduce crunch. Both are insider reports Rockstar has not confirmed. Notably, Tez2 tied the rumored Project Rome creator engine to GTA 5, not GTA 6, a restraint that third-party coverage did not always preserve.
