Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of Rockstar Games and the publisher of Grand Theft Auto VI. Its fiscal 2026 results, summarised in the company's 2026 proxy filing, reported net revenue of $6.66 billion and net bookings of $6.72 billion, roughly $750 million above initial guidance, with fourth-quarter net bookings of $1.58 billion also beating guidance.

The GTA 6 fiscal year

On its May 21, 2026 earnings call the company guided fiscal 2027 net bookings to a record $8.0 to $8.2 billion, explicitly crediting the November 19, 2026 launch, with chief executive Strauss Zelnick describing fiscal 2027 as "a breakout year". A July 17, 2026 SEC proxy filing then formally reaffirmed the release date, a step coverage widely read as a strong anti-delay signal, and the definitive proxy for the September 17, 2026 shareholder meeting kept the date on the record. The shareholder letter cites expected fiscal 2027 operating cash flow above $1 billion.

Enforcement and policy

Take-Two has issued DMCA takedowns against AI-generated GTA 6 videos on YouTube, part of a wider enforcement posture that also saw the company push the Rage:MP and alt:V modding platforms toward shutdown after acquiring Cfx.re, the company behind FiveM. On content, Zelnick confirmed at the iicon 2026 conference that GTA 6 will carry no real-world brands or product placement: "It's a fictional world and everything in it is fictional. So we're not even at risk of doing brand partnerships because all the brands are made up" (see brands).

Recurrent consumer spending reached $5.20 billion in fiscal 2026, 78.1 percent of net revenue, underscoring how much of the business the live GTA ecosystem already represents ahead of launch. See the GTA 6 hub for the wider release picture.
