The parody domains find is one of the strongest-sourced datamines of the Grand Theft Auto VI pre-launch cycle. Dataminer Tez2 posted via GTAForums that a batch of web domains had been registered on May 27, 2025 under Take-Two's nameservers, with the find spreading in September 2025 through reporting from EGW, Sportskeeda and others. The list reads exactly like the satirical addresses GTA games are known for:

The registrations are the strongly verified layer, since domain ownership and nameserver records are WHOIS-checkable rather than word of mouth. The decodes are interpretation: per Sportskeeda, rydeme.app is read as an Uber or Lyft style ride-share, what-up.app as a WhatsApp parody, and brianandbradley.com as a send-up of the Florida law firm Morgan & Morgan. leonidagov.org stands out because Leonida is the confirmed state.

The Streisand effect

After the leak drew attention, Take-Two changed the nameservers to obscure ownership of the domains, per Sportskeeda's follow-up. That reconfiguration is also WHOIS-verifiable, and it is a textbook Streisand effect: the attempt to hide the trail became some of the best evidence the domains genuinely matter to Rockstar.

The precedent

GTA 4 and GTA 5 in-game site domains redirected to Rockstar's real website, which supports the theory that these registrations are groundwork for browsable pages inside GTA 6's in-game internet.
