THE MAIN DOCKET DID NOT MOVE AND A SECOND COURTHOUSE DID. Take Two Interactive Software, Inc. v. PlayerAuctions, Inc., No. 2:25-cv-01880 (C.D. Cal.), read 2026-10-27T03:12:06Z at HTTP 200 and 165,720 bytes, STANDS EXACTLY AT THE PRIOR CYCLE'S ANCHOR: seven entries, 122 THROUGH 128, ALL FILED 2026-10-22, being a transcript order form, two sealing applications, two sealed declarations, a compel entry and a protective order. Case header as printed: nature of suit 820 Copyright, cause 17:501, jury demand plaintiff, assigned to Otis D. Wright II, referred to Magistrate Judge John D. Early, filed 4 March 2025. THE LIVE DISPUTE IS DISCOVERY: entry 118 of 15 October records minutes of a motion hearing before Magistrate Judge Early on a protective order over THE DEPOSITIONS OF CHEN XIA AND RICHARD IBANEZ at docket 108 and a motion to compel compliance with a document production order at docket 109, with entries 110 to 115 of 1 October being duelling supplemental memoranda, and entry 117 granting pro hac vice admission to Michelle L. Mayfield with Brian H. Newman as local counsel on a $450 fee. NEW IN THE WINDOW: IN RE SUBPOENA TO BIJOU MGBOJIKWE, No. 1:26-mc-00146 (D.D.C.), read 03:12:38Z at HTTP 200 and 97,383 bytes, DATE OF LAST KNOWN FILING 26 OCTOBER 2026, cause Motion to Quash Subpoenas, nature of suit 890, assigned to Tanya Sue Chutkan, with PlayerAuctions, Inc. a named party. THE DOCKET: entry 1 on 2026-10-13 is a motion to quash or modify subpoena with A $52 FILING FEE, RECEIPT 286JCJKA and 15 attachments comprising exhibits 1 to 9, an errata and exhibits 11 to 14 plus a proposed order; entry 2 on 10-16 is a transfer case entry; entry 3 the same day is a notice of related case; entry 4 on 10-23 is a notice of appearance; AND AN UNNUMBERED ORDER TRANSFERRING CASE IS DATED 2026-10-26. The motion's own text ties it to the main case, rendering as Software, Inc. Plaintiff, v. PlayerAuctions, Inc., et al. Defendants. NON-PARTY, with Kimberly Louise Paschall as counsel of record. IF THE TRANSFEREE COURT IS THE ISSUING COURT, THE NEXT CHECKABLE EVENT IS THE MATTER APPEARING ON THE CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA DOCKET. DO NOT CONFUSE THE $52 FEE HERE WITH THE DMCA ACTIONS: this is a District of Columbia miscellaneous filing fee of 13 October 2026. THE 512(h) CORRECTION HOLDS: those are Southern District of New York miscellaneous actions of 20 and 21 August 2026, the Miami-Dade framing published in batch 65 under take-two-playerauctions-four-filings-22-october-four-dmca-512h-actions-miami-dade STAYS RETRACTED, and a secondary piece dated 2026-10-09 independently reports the newest item on those dockets is still 21 August and that the subpoenas sought account data from Microsoft and Discord. NO NEW TAKE-TWO OR ROCKSTAR FEDERAL CASE WAS FILED 20 TO 26 OCTOBER: a RECAP search across all courts returned exactly ONE RESULT AND IT IS A FALSE POSITIVE, an immigration case whose emergency motion contains the phrase ask this Court to take two actions. LIMITS, AND THEY ARE LOAD BEARING: EVERY DOCKET FIGURE HERE IS RECAP-MIRRORED AND NOT PACER-READ, PACER was not attempted for want of credentials, the mirror is a volunteer archive whose own page says items may not be up to date, and AN ABSENCE OF ENTRIES AFTER 22 OCTOBER ON THE MIRROR DOES NOT PROVE PACER HAS NONE; entry 121 is unnumbered in the mirror and cannot be characterised; the seven descriptions are the mirror's own type labels rather than docket text and four of the seven are sealed, so NO SEALED DOCUMENT WAS READ; the transfer order itself was NOT read, THE TRANSFEREE COURT IS NOT CONFIRMED, and who Bijou Mgbojikwe is, what the subpoena sought and whether Take-Two rather than the defendants issued it are ALL UNVERIFIED AND NOT ASSERTED; United States federal courts only, so the Miami-Dade description can be said to lack federal support without a state filing being ruled out; CourtListener's REST API returned HTTP 429 with a stated 125 calls per day and its dockets endpoint returned HTTP 401, so no machine-readable second surface was obtainable and all docket work fell back to the HTML interface; five tier-one outlets refuse this desk's user agent outright, so nothing here characterises tier-one legal coverage. RETRIEVAL METHOD: rockstargames.com/robots.txt names ClaudeBot and disallows it site-wide so this desk did not read that host and every Newswire statement is secondary and attributed, one researcher's disguised fetch of it was excluded along with the four findings resting on it, no Rockstar media assets were retrieved because none remain to retrieve, store.rockstargames.com is a separate permitted host read directly, and SEC.GOV AND THE WIKIMEDIA API WERE GIVEN THE DECLARED USER AGENT 6CHARTS NEWS DESK [email protected].
Take-Two's copyright case against PlayerAuctions recorded no new docket activity in the twenty four hours to 2026-10-27T03:12Z. The docket stands exactly where it stood a day ago, at seven entries numbered 122 to 128, all filed 2026-10-22. The movement this cycle is in a different courthouse: on 2026-10-26, inside the window, Judge Tanya S. Chutkan entered an Order Transferring Case in a District of Columbia miscellaneous action brought by a non-party to quash a subpoena issued out of the PlayerAuctions litigation.

The case header reads: date filed 13 October 2026, date of last known filing 26 October 2026, cause "Motion to Quash Subpoenas", nature of suit 890 Other Statutory Actions, jury demand none, jurisdiction type federal question. Assigned to Tanya Sue Chutkan. The named parties are Bijou Mgbojikwe, the subpoena itself and PlayerAuctions, Inc.

The link to the main case is explicit in the motion's own text, which the full-text index renders as "...Software, Inc. Plaintiff, v. PlayerAuctions, Inc., et al. Defendants. NON-PARTY...". Counsel of record is listed as Kimberly Louise Paschall. Read plainly: a non-party moved in the District of Columbia on 13 October to quash a subpoena issued in the PlayerAuctions litigation, a transfer motion and a notice of related case followed three days later, and on 26 October the court ordered the matter transferred. If the transferee court is the issuing court, the next checkable event is the matter appearing on the Central District of California docket, and this desk will look for it next cycle.
What is not established, and this is the larger part. The order itself was not read. The transferee court is not confirmed. Who Bijou Mgbojikwe is, what the subpoena sought, and whether Take-Two rather than the defendants issued it are all unconfirmed and are not asserted anywhere in this piece. The $52 fee here is a District of Columbia miscellaneous-action filing fee and must not be confused with the DMCA subpoena actions discussed below, which carry the same fee amount in a different district in a different month.
Official Rockstar artwork, included to illustrate the piece. It does not itself evidence any of the figures discussed here.

The live dispute behind those seven entries is discovery. Entry 118, dated 15 October, records minutes of a motion hearing before Magistrate Judge Early on two motions: a protective order over the depositions of Chen Xia and Richard Ibanez, docket 108, and a motion for protective order and to compel compliance with a court order to produce documents, docket 109. Entries 110 to 115, all 1 October, are duelling supplemental memoranda on the same two motions with their sealing applications. Entry 117, 7 October, grants pro hac vice admission to Michelle L. Mayfield for the defendants with Brian H. Newman as local counsel, on an application at entry 116 carrying a $450 fee and receipt ACACDC-43512418.
The DMCA correction holds, and no new case was filed
The section 512(h) correction stands. Those are Southern District of New York miscellaneous actions of 20 and 21 August 2026, and the Miami-Dade framing published in batch 65 under take-two-playerauctions-four-filings-22-october-four-dmca-512h-actions-miami-dade stays retracted. A secondary piece dated 2026-10-09, surfaced by search at 2026-10-27T03:09:40Z, independently reports that the newest item on any of those dockets is still dated 21 August and that the subpoenas sought account data from Microsoft and Discord. That is consistent with an August SDNY record and inconsistent with four October filings in a Florida state court.
No new Take-Two or Rockstar federal case was filed between 20 and 26 October. A RECAP search across all courts, filed-after 2026-10-20, newest first, read at 03:11:19Z at HTTP 200 and 125,016 bytes, returned exactly one result. It is a false positive: an immigration case in the District of Massachusetts whose emergency motion contains the phrase "Plaintiffs respectfully ask this Court to take two actions".
Limits
Every docket figure in this piece is mirrored from RECAP and was not read on PACER. PACER was not attempted, because this desk has no credentials. RECAP is a volunteer mirror of what users of its extension have uploaded, its own page says items "may not be up to date", and an absence of entries after 22 October on the mirror does not prove PACER has none. Entry 121 is unnumbered in the mirror's view and cannot be characterised. The seven descriptions in the table are the mirror's own document type labels rather than full docket text, and entries 123, 124, 126 and 127 are sealed, so their substance is unavailable and no sealed document was read.
Confidence, as the researcher rated it. MEDIUM-HIGH on the unchanged main docket, which rests on one surface but reproduces the prior cycle's seven-entry pattern exactly. MEDIUM on the transfer order, which is a single surface with no entry number and no uploaded document. MEDIUM-HIGH on the null for new filings, which is one structured surface correctly filtered with a transparently explicable false positive.
Scope. United States federal courts only. State courts are not covered, which is why the Miami-Dade description can be said to lack federal support without a state filing being ruled out. No United Kingdom tribunal, no European regulator and no trademark docket was checked.
What could not be read, with status codes. CourtListener's REST API returned HTTP 429 at 100 and 102 bytes with a stated anonymous limit of 125 calls per day and a reset about 20,391 seconds out, and its dockets endpoint returned HTTP 401 at 58 bytes for missing credentials. No machine-readable second surface for either docket was obtainable and all docket work fell back to the HTML interface. Five tier-one outlets, namely Reuters, The Verge, IGN, Eurogamer and GamesIndustry.biz, refuse this desk's user agent outright at the search layer, so nothing here characterises what tier-one legal coverage did or did not publish.
Retrieval method, disclosed. rockstargames.com/robots.txt names ClaudeBot and disallows it site-wide, so this desk did not read rockstargames.com this cycle and every Newswire statement in this batch is secondary and attributed. One researcher's disguised fetch of that host was excluded from publication along with the four findings that rested on it, and no Rockstar media assets were retrieved this cycle because none remain to retrieve. store.rockstargames.com is a separate host that permits us and was read directly. sec.gov and the Wikimedia API were given the declared user agent "6Charts News Desk [email protected]", and the EDGAR work from this cycle sits beside this piece in the news index. The server list carries the communities following the case.
