The streamer Adin Ross has repeatedly described plans for a paid Grand Theft Auto VI roleplay server built with FaZe Banks, where players would earn real income doing in-game jobs. It remains a stated ambition, not a product, and skepticism has been widely reported.

The pitch

The idea was first detailed in February 2025 on the FULL SEND podcast and revived in June 2026, when Ross told viewers on Kick, "You guys can quit your jobs in real life and work on my server." The described concept includes a hardcore realistic-economy mode alongside a gang-focused free-roam mode, in-game jobs such as janitor, babysitter and pizza delivery, and a crypto-based economy that would convert in-game cash into real money, supported by crypto, sponsorship and viewer revenue.

The obstacles

Outlets including GTA BOOM, Dexerto, GamingBible and Game Rant have been pointed about the problems. A real-money cash-out economy likely collides with Rockstar and Take-Two's Terms of Service and the Platform License Agreement governing FiveM servers, and Take-Two owns Cfx.re, the company behind FiveM, giving it direct say over paid GTA multiplayer. No economic model has been shown that would support "quit your job" incomes; a server paying out real cash has to fund it from somewhere. And serious roleplay runs on PC, while GTA 6 launches console-first with no dated PC version, which realistically puts a project like this one to two years out at minimum.

The confirmed boundaries: the server is unofficial, FiveM-based in concept, publicly unfunded and undated. Anyone presenting "get paid to play GTA 6" as a done deal is running ahead of the evidence.
