The Ultimate Edition is GTA 6's premium tier at $99.99, a $20 step over the Standard Edition, and its defining trait is that the extras live inside the single-player game. Rockstar's own description says the content is "threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story," with items "uncovered behind each chapter", wording that is also the strongest official evidence for a chapter-based story, with bonuses unlocking progressively rather than arriving in one day-one dump.

The confirmed contents:

The tier has been the launch window's loudest argument. Because the exclusives are story-world content rather than multiplayer cosmetics, many fans called locking single-player shops and missions behind a price tier "a huge red flag," a reaction GamesRadar's coverage captured, with Red Dead Redemption 2's premium-edition hideout content cited as the precedent. Whether $20 for this bundle is fair is opinion; the list above is fact. See our pre-order guide for the buying decision, and note that the Vintage Vice City Pack comes with every edition, not just this one.
