NoPixel V is the fifth iteration of NoPixel and the first roleplay project built in open collaboration with Rockstar Games. Announced on September 23, 2025, it was officially described as "the next evolution of the GTA V Roleplay experience," a first-of-its-kind partnership, with Rockstar posting that it was excited to support the NoPixel team as they create the future of GTA RP. For a scene that spent years in a legal gray area, a direct endorsement from the developer was a landmark, one made possible by the Cfx.re acquisition.

How it works

NoPixel V is set for the Rockstar Games Launcher and other PC platforms, removing the need for third-party mod clients. It remains invite-only with a curated creator roster, with early invites distributed through the community's own site; xQc and Valkyrae feature among its streamers, and reported roster plans include Pokimane, with Kai Cenat reportedly planning a launch marathon. Reported feature descriptions mention robust in-game economies and enhanced faction systems; treat the roster and features as reported, not locked.

The June 2026 datamine

On June 22, 2026, dataminer TexFunz2 found NoPixel V wired into the Rockstar Games Launcher backend, with title assets, a background image and a logo. It is the most concrete signal yet that the platform side is real, with a caveat GTA BOOM stated well: backend assets "can sit for weeks, even months, before anything goes live."

What is not confirmed, and a date correction

No launch date, no price or access model, and no GTA 6 connection have been confirmed; reading the project as a test run for official GTA 6 roleplay is interpretation. One circulating error also needs killing: some aggregators attached an old May 26, 2026 date to this story, which was GTA 6's superseded release target and has nothing to do with NoPixel V. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026, and NoPixel continues on GTA 5. Follow servers positioning for the transition on the 6Charts server list.
