GTA 6 Dedicated Servers (Job Listings)
Rockstar's Creator Platform job listings mention "fully customized dedicated servers." The phrase describes FiveM and RedM today, not a GTA 6 feature.

In early July 2026, Rockstar job listings set off a wave of "GTA 6 dedicated servers" headlines. The listings are real; the GTA 6 reading is not supported by them, and this page separates the two.
The story
Nine Creator Platform listings across London, New York and Scotland, first surfaced on a Reddit leaks forum, describe players experiencing community-created content on "fully customized dedicated servers" with their own game modes. Coverage leapt to GTA 6 community servers, and the phrase spread as a feature announcement.
The correction
Read in full, the team's mandate says it delivers "a technology platform that enables players to experience community created content on fully customized dedicated servers where creators can develop their own game modes and other modifications in a variety of scripting languages." That is a description of FiveM and RedM as they have run for years, written to hire people to work on them, not an announcement of anything new.
What a full board audit found
A July 30, 2026 pull of Rockstar's public job board counted 79 open roles, ten of them in the Creator Platform group behind Cfx.re (resolving to five requisitions). The creator-economy language is genuinely there in Rockstar's own words: the listings name the Cfx Marketplace, describe tools that help creators "build, publish, operate, grow, and monetize," and ask for experience with "digital economies, marketplaces, or monetized ecosystems." Across the ten listings, "marketplace" appears 18 times and monetization 12. What no listing does: mention GTA 6 in any form (pattern-checked across all 79 postings, zero hits), name a console, name a FiveM successor or "SixM," or use the phrase "revenue sharing."
Signal versus proof
What the listings plausibly signal is that Rockstar is investing seriously in a creator economy around its existing platforms, which is written down in its own text. What they prove about GTA 6 is nothing. The rumored in-game creator engine has its own page at Project ROME, and the realistic GTA 6 roleplay timeline is in our explainer.
