Gang Compounds are a confirmed GTA 6 activity type: open-world hideouts that players can raid for contraband. The detail comes from Rockstar's own product listing, published 24 June 2026 ahead of pre-orders opening on 25 June, and was reported from that listing by Kotaku, GamesRadar, Complex and GameRant.

Rockstar describes the raids as repeatable rather than single-use story beats, positioning compounds as an ongoing income activity instead of one-off missions. The listing names a specific example target: the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store in Southside Vice City, tied to the PTT Youngin$ street gang.

One Gang Compound raid is bundled exclusively with the $99.99 Ultimate Edition. As GameRant and Kotaku both noted at the time, the wording of the listing implies that multiple compounds exist across the base game, with the edition-exclusive raid sitting on top as extra content rather than being the only version of the activity.

Place in the criminal economy

Compound raids open the loop that Rockstar's June materials spelled out: contraband taken from a raid can be stored in personal garages and sold to the Fence at a discounted rate, before re-equipping a limited loadout for the next run. See the criminal economy overview for the full cycle.

What has not been shown is the moment-to-moment design of a raid — enemy counts, stealth options and payouts all remain undetailed. The confirmation establishes that the activity exists and repeats; gameplay footage of it had not been released as of August 2026. Rockstar catalogued the surrounding systems in the same information drop covered in the official screenshots breakdown.
