It comes from Zenglen, a Haitian group working in konpa, the smooth, groove-driven Haitian dance music that has been a fixture of the Caribbean diaspora's sound for decades. Among a trailer spread that runs from The Pointer Sisters to Tammy Wynette, a konpa track stands out on purpose.
